Terms of use
Rules for using the online services of savethemall.eu, including the "STA Ops" Discord bot.
1. Purpose
These terms govern the use of the online services published under savethemall.eu and its
subdomains, including the Discord bot "STA Ops" on the private "STA Inc." server. Using any of these
services means you accept these terms.
The publisher is the one named in the legal notice: Frédéric Guariento, a natural person established in Belgium, acting in a private and non-commercial capacity.
2. Access to the services
Apart from public information pages, the services are private: they are reserved for people invited by the publisher, and there is no public sign-up. An invitation may be withdrawn at any time.
The services are provided free of charge and "as is". No service level, continuity or support is guaranteed.
3. The "STA Ops" Discord bot
STA Ops is a notification bot. It posts technical messages produced by the publisher's infrastructure into the channels of the "STA Inc." server: service status, alerts, incidents, tasks.
- It offers no commands and does not reply to messages.
- It neither reads nor stores members' messages: access to message content (the "Message Content" intent) and the other privileged intents are disabled, and it keeps no persistent connection to Discord — it only sends.
- The messages it posts may contain machine names, service names or excerpts of technical logs; they are meant for server members only and must not be shared beyond it.
Use of Discord itself is governed by Discord's Terms of Service and Privacy Policy; Discord processes your account data on its own behalf.
4. Acceptable use
You may not use the services to attempt to bypass their security, access what is not meant for you, disrupt their operation, or distribute unlawful content. Any such use may lead to access being suspended without notice.
5. Intellectual property
The content, visuals, names and software of the services remain the property of the publisher, as set out in the legal notice. Trademarks mentioned, including Discord, belong to their respective owners.
6. Availability and liability
The services run on personal infrastructure and may be interrupted, changed or discontinued at any time. A notification may arrive late, twice, or not at all: it replaces no check and must not be the sole basis for a decision.
To the extent permitted by law, the publisher cannot be held liable for indirect damage arising from the use or unavailability of the services. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
7. Personal data
The processing of personal data is described in the privacy policy, which prevails over these terms for any question about your data.
8. Changes to these terms
These terms may change. The version in force and its date are shown at the top of the page; continuing to use a service after a change means you accept the new version.
9. Governing law and jurisdiction
These terms are governed by Belgian law. Failing an amicable settlement, any dispute falls under the jurisdiction of the Belgian courts of the publisher's domicile, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protection rules.
